Scaffold & Low Level Access Awareness Inspection

Overview

On completion delegates will have an understanding of traditional scaffolding including safety requirements and fault identification.

HSS Training now provides new scaffolding courses to understand the principles of tube and fitting scaffolding structure and their components to aid site inspections and the identification of faults and hazards.

Training can be organised on site, at customers' premises – subject to suitability, or at one of our training centres.

Scaffolding Inspection

This course will assist delegates in understanding the principles of tube and fitting scaffolding structure and their components to aid site inspections and the identification of faults and hazards.

Who will beefit
Site managers and supervisors responsible for checking that the erection of basic conventional façade scaffolding has been carried out safely and correctly.

Course content

• Basic scaffolding functions
• Scaffolding definitions
• Construction of scaffolds
• Tube and fitting scaffolding components
• Identification of scaffolding faults and hazards
• Test paper

Delegates who attend the course will need to be in good health and be capable of working at height, to assemble and operate the appropriate equipment and have sufficient understanding of the English language to be able to read and understand instructions.

Certification

Successful delegates will receive a Scaffold Inspection certificate issued by HSS Training.
