HSS Training - Abrasive Wheels Courses

The course involves both classroom and practical sessions.It will introduce the employer and the employee’s duties for the use of work equipment and explain the relevant legislation and the responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act.

Delegates are tested at the end of the course. There is a written test paper. All answers will be covered during the course.

The course will cover the following products:
^ Angle grinders fitted with cutting or grinding wheels
^ Cut-off saws
^ Bench top cut-off saw

COURSE AIM:
At the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of current legislation and be able to demonstrate the safe fitting and use of abrasive wheels as per manufacturer's instructions.
