HSS Training Solutions has developed a range of courses that can be undertaken on-site for operators and users of lifting equipment.  These courses cover hazards, risks, site safety and current legislation.

Upon successful completion of the course the candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to plan the lifting operation, select the correct crane, decide on numbers of personnel and the correct lifting equipment required in order that the job can be carried out successfully and to the required standards.

COURSE AIM:
At the end of the course delegates will be able to identify the purpose and capacity of lifting tackle. They will also have an appreciation of the legislation regarding mobile cranes, and general use of lifting equipment.

Certification
Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) approved certificate.

With the introduction of the Lifting Operation & Lifting Equipment Regulations (L.O.L.E.R), it is vital that all employers can demonstrate that their employees have been adequately trained.
